Cracked gold, clear accessories, boyish lace-ups and a reunion of red, thats what Philip Lim's new creations are about. Seeing single pieces of a collection can be very inspiring because you have to make up your mind how to combine it while on the runway a complete look is already presented. Flipping through those showroom pictures I think I like the contrast between fancy and masculine details a lot as seen by Philip Lim.

A/W Preview: Topshop Unique

Just a first impression what will expect us upcoming autumn. Topshop Unique continues the 90s revival at Fashion Week London with flap trousers, black and white combos, crosses, patent leather and pointed chelsea boots. In conjunction with futuristic three-dimensional structures and angular cat eyes I love every single detail about that collection and really need to own such an overall!

People are afraid of storm tides dragging everything possible away and leaving nothing but morbid valleys, people fear meteoroids smashing into buildings and creating bleak emptiness. They are even scared of broken mirrors suspecting bad luck for the rest of their lives. 

Babtiste Debombourg made up his mind and asked himself how beautiful all these disasters might look wouldn't they damaging. The result is just breathtaking, entering one of those rooms you just feel like being in a photograph watching everything standing still, a paralyzed act of god. Without hearing a sound your mind will take control and immerse you in a void of riot.
